Ute Mahler In the Oderbruch . Ulrich Plenzdorf

He had a strong political and poetic power. I took pictures of him at demonstrations against election fraud and for free elections in Berlin in 1989, at pickets, at human chains on long-distance streets. And I took this photo in the garden of his house in a small village in the Oderbruch river polder. That was a place for him at which he had the opportunity to ponder and to write.
